The School Administration apprenticeship framework is designed to meet the skill needs of schools by attracting new talent into a career in Administration and help to up-skill the workforce to replace those who leave or retire. Intermediate apprentices will work in roles such as administrators, office juniors and receptionists. Advanced apprentices will work in roles such as administration executives/officers, administration team leaders and personal assistants or secretaries.

Unit 23/27: Plan and Organise Meetings and Take MinutesUnit 23 is about planning and organising meetings to meet the agreed purpose of the meeting. Unit 27 is about taking minutes at different kinds of meetings, where an accurate record is needed of decisions made and actions agreed.
Unit 31: Provide Reception ServicesThis unit is about providing a reception service in a school environment, acting as the first point of contact between the school, its pupils, colleagues and the public.
Unit 39: Support the Management and Development of an Information SystemThis unit is about supporting the management and evaluation of an information system to meet identified needs in a school environment. We tailor this unit to the system used by the school to manage records, for example, SIMS.
